Peat bank in northern Inishowen at the top of Crockaulin (Cnoc Alainn) looking towards Crocknasmug (Cnoc na Smug) and the north Atlantic beyond. Hand digging of blanket bog is much less destructive to the unique peatland environment than machine cutting.
