Kinnoge Bay

A frosty morning at Kinnoge Bay in Inishowen, County Donegal, Ireland. It was in this bay that the Spanish Armada ship La Trinidad Valencera was shipwrecked in 1588. Backed by steep cliffs, only a narrow fringe of dunes has been able to form behind the beach. The townlands in the headland in the background are Craignahulla and Balloor.
