Trawbreaga
Trawbreaga
Bay is an enclosed bay fed by a narrow channel between Doagh Isle
and the dunes of Lagg, seen here in the middle left. These dunes started
to form about 5000 years ago. Trawbreaga Bay is Ireland's most northerly
wetland and is an important overwintering site for Brent and Barnacle
Geese.
