Mushroom Farm

Mushroom farming is one way of farmers diversifying, in this case on a small scale in poor land in the West of Ireland. There are an eatimated 400 mushroom farmers in Ireland although they face stiff competition in the British market from Dutch growers, who in turn have had to compete with producers from Eastern Europe.
