Armagh Cathedral

Armagh Cathedral is built on the summit of Drumsaillech in what is now the city of Armagh. Founded by St Patrick in 1550 years ago on the site of a prehistoric settlement there is little left of the original which was 'worked over' by an English architect, L.N.Cottingham between 1834-1837.
