Portrush

Rathmore Head, to the left of the photograph, is a dolerite sill. Around the beaches to the east and west of the headland a Victorian seaside resort has grown up - Portrush. Many of the guesthouses and hotels continued to be used for tourism and the resort is still linked by rail to the Northern Ireland Railway network.
